After returning from Barcelona a few weeks ago I was feeling pretty tired and fed up as I had to go to work for half a day (damn you work!). This lovely Scarlett & Jo skirt had arrived a few days earlier so decided to wear it to cheer me up! I added an old Dorothy Perkins top for work but think I’d wear it with a little cami if I was off out anywhere spesh.
Mr E did treat me to tea at a lovely restaurant in Retford called No5, I literally got home and we went straight there though, if I’d had the chance I would’ve changed it!
How lush is the food?! I wore my River Island Black Flecked Stone Necklace and old George 2 part flats which I think always look a little smarter than a plain ballet pump. The finishing touch was saw my Quay My Girl sunglasses in black Tortoiseshell and Rose Mirror Lenses. I heart them!
We had lots of the fab food and thankfully the skirt stretched to accommodate my increasingly growing food baby. The elastic is quite thick and holds well but I would say it’s made it slightly small to size. I wanted an 18 but only 20’s were left and I think the 18 might have felt too small. This ones not available anymore ( I got it for £10 from House of Fraser!) but this mint green one is fab! I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to buy a Scarlett&Jo piece, I think it might be the start of an obsession.
