Excitement! I’ve been invited to the Ladbrokes Ladies Day for the St Ledger Festival at Doncaster Races! I’ve been the last couple of years (last year’s outfit here!) for the actual Ledger Race on the Saturday, and am going again too, this will be the first time I’ll have been to Ladies Day though and I’m super excited!
I know that this race day is OTT, you can’t be too brown, can’t have a hat too big or a dress too flashy! I’m for sure sticking to my own style though but will try and add in a little something to pull it all together!

I’ve been challenged to pull together a look for the day, and of course I’ve planned more than one! I used my favourite mood boarding tool Polyvore so all item details can me found in My Sets Here.

First up is this  ASOS Tall Salon Organza Dress, I love the back of it (and you can wear a bra under it!) and the colours are just so spring like! It’s on site now and reduced but be quick!  I paired it with a Rock & Rose Floral Crown Hairpiece, Gorgeous Nine West Sandals and a bright green clutch bag. I have one in a similar green made from plastic which I would use but love the detail on this one which gives it , it’s Medusa name. Ive topped it off with a statement necklace to bring in the colours and to give interest at the neckline (which is a subtle v neck style)

Next up is another ASOS dress, (ASOS Strap Back Maxi) this time I’ve matched it to this lovely butterfly hair piece from Crown and Glory  for something a bit different. The back of the dress is rather open and has a cross back tie that means wearing a bra is a no no.I’ve added some black Simply Be shoes I already own and a seventies style fringe bag from River Island. Jewellery wise I went for a gold bracelet with fringing to tie into the bag.

Next up was another Maxi this one is from New Look (at ASOS!). I love the print of it and it’s even long enough to wear with heels which is fab. I added some orange faith sandals I’ve recently bought, an amazing blue Pom Pom hat from Debenhams with a Bracelet in a similar blue. Of course I added in my own Mulberry Clutch but any black clutch would do I think.

Guess what? Another ASOS dress! I tried to colour clash the dress so picked out the deep fushia with the Debenhams Orchid headpiece, ALDO bag and necklace and added flashes of orange with the shoes and parts of the necklace.

Finally the last ASOS dress! This one has amazing cut out sides and looks fab with this Debenhams fascinator which just looks like a flamingo threw up on my head. I love it! I’ve added the green bag again and Ted Baker green sandals plus a cheeky Marc Jacobs bracelet and my Quay My Girl Sunglasses in Coffee. This one is my favourite at the moment so would be the one I pick to wear, of course I’ve got plenty of time to change my mind!

So tell me, what’s you’re favourite one?!
