I didn’t realise how much I loved snake print until it came to the forefront of fashion this season (well behind leopard lets be honest). I discovered 6 pairs of snake print shoes in varying styles which alerted me to my love of it! I think the husbands hatred of leopard print (which I often ignore but not always) has lead to me latching onto snake print as my animal print of choice – if this is a thing tell me yours in the comments won’t you?

Most of the must have snake print pieces haven’t come in my size (I’m looking at you and the small fitting size 18’s Topshop) so I’ve looked at ways to accessorise instead with bags, shoes and now even my phone case! When CaseApp* asked me to come design my own custom phone case in exchange for a discount code for you guys I knew I had to have a snakeprint one. So I got the husband to agree to design a concrete and snake mix print and I added a brushed gold stripe using the A Design Kit app! It was so simple and look how good it looks. It’s the ‘Tough’ case which means there’s a soft silicone case and then a hard case that goes over that. Having chipped the bottom of my screen when it was in a less protective case I went for this as I’m desperate to not let that damage get any worse – wish me luck!

Because of this I wasn’t too worried as I tucked it into my new Ted Baker bag as I took photos! I’ve been wanting a round bag and just couldn’t find one I loved so when this one popped up on Mercari (remember them from this post here?) and I had a voucher for some more money off I snapped it up. I got it for less than a third of its actual price!

I’m all about bargains which leads me onto my discount code for Caseapp! For 20% off just use LUCYEARNSHAW20 at the checkout. That will get you a standard iPhone X case (usually £19) for £15.20, or the Tough case like mine for £17.60. Well worth the price in my opinion as in the midst of writing this my phone fell out of my bag and there was no damage phew! Any more fashionable case and it would have been a goner!

At the same time as ordering the case I ordered a new snake print pleated skirt (£28) from PLT which, thanks to its elasticated waist means the size 16 fits me (but they do have a similar more brown one in the PLT Plus range (£28) I recently discovered) and is comfy to wear. Meaning it’ll be perfect for all the Sunday dinners future me will eat whilst wearing it. Paired with all black including my never off my feet George at Asda boots (£15) plus my new faux fur coat from New Look (£27 in the sale!- I’m wearing size L) I was ready for shopping and a little walk in the park. All the doggos loved me for some reason so I got to pet 4! Like even managed to get photos too for you to see them such cuties!
