As soon as we get a little bit of sun,or my drive home consists of at least 5% daylight or I spot a snowdrop I am all over Spring. With March just around the corner, I just can’t wait for it to start officially! So on Sunday I dusted off my favourite pastel Mulberry, switched my boots for ballet pumps and came up to Leeds to meet some of my faves for lunch.
I wore this satin pink jacket/shirt with my ASOS Curve Jeans – is this a shacket I wonder? It’s not meant to be, as it’s a blouse, but when I also wore it to the Blog Squad event on Thursday (which was awesome by the way!) everyone thought it was a jacket, so who knows. No one could believe it was from George at Asda, its still available and in the Sale at £10- so be quick! It’s that gorgeous blush pink that as soon as I can smell spring I am all over. It’s probably because I always like to bring out my Alexa bag which is just the prettiest shade of deep blush (classed as Plaster Pink). Upon commenting on my outfit to Lucinda (over at The Fashion Fictionary) who was taking these fab shots- ‘do you think it’s all a bit too pink?’ I realised I had an obsession.

I also realised my last three purchases were all a blush pink of sorts and so this post was born. I’ve picked out a few other blush pink items that have caught my eye  (no surprises there) starting with other casual tops which are so pretty thanks to the frills which are my other favourite feature for spring. I’ve also picked out some more formal/going out tops. I couldn’t not include a little bit of rose gold as it’s just a gorgeous top.

Cold Shoulder Long Sleeve Blouse – Alice and You at Simply Be £40

Cold Shoulder Short Sleeve Blouse- Coast £39*

Rose Gold Cami – River Island Plus £20

One Shoulder Bow Top – Coast £79*

Ribbed Body Suit – Boohoo Plus £10

My second pink purchase was the one in the middle of the photo below . I bought it from Everything5Pounds, I nipped on the site when I saw they’d had some new plus size offerings drop on site and fell in love with this blush pink velvet dress. I thought it looked very ASOS inspired and snapped it up- then searched the web quickly and low and behold, it is an ASOS dress. Currently on site for £55. It looks so pretty on as it’s part backless but I can even wear a nude bra with it providing it sits lower on my back.

You can’t beat a bit of pink lace so Lace Flare Sleeve Skater Dress – Marks and Spencer £79 is super pretty! And I had to include the Tulle Maxi Skirt – Coast £109* (I’ve also found the plus size version available at Simply Be Here) as it looks so good with their Bow Top above as you’ll see if you go on site, it even looks like a dress, so beautiful!

My final buy were the shoes in the first photos. They were just £4 in the New Look sale and thanks to the mesh detail the backs are pretty soft so no rubbing! I’ve found some pairs that are still available and had to include a couple of very cute bags too.

Backless mules are everywhere right now so I had to havethe Pink Ponyhair slip ons- River Island £55 as part of the edit!

Pink Shell Bag – Skinny Dip at ASOS £30

Wide Fit Suedette Pink heels- New Look £19.99

Pink Metallic Bow Bag- ASOS £15
