Heres another post scheduled for whilst I’m on holiday, I’ll be checking in every so often for comments though so please still comment as it always means a lot.

Just before I went away I was lucky enough to get a place on another blogger event! I do love getting together with other bloggers in the local area and meeting brands and learning more about them, incase you haven’t already guessed.
This event was organised by Hannah, Emma and Frankie and you can find their twitter page here if you are interested in any more events they will be organising.

We started off with a speed date type get to know each other which I really enjoyed! it gave me chance to speak to those that I knew already and those I didn’t without having the usual awkwardness as we were all in the same boat!
Once that was over we heard about the charity Look Good, Feel Better which I enjoy supporting and of course I bagged myself a few tickets, much to Carl’s dismay as I always win everything he says!

There were 4 brands there on the day, three sister brands, Keratin Revolution, Noir Caviar and Infinatura Oil and Moo Goo. in-between hearing from these brands there was plenty of time to chat which i really liked.
we heard about Keratin Revolution first, their MD Ben Collins was there as was Faye who works for their PR and they told us about how the brand had been set up and how he had built this brand and where the idea came from. it was great to see an insight into brand building as I’ve only really seen this on a much larger scale within my day job, so to see how it had been built from scratch.
The range has been going for 4 years, and started as a salon treatment offering aftercare products to maintain the treatment for longer. there’s a shampoo, conditioner , deep conditioning masque and a leave in conditioner. We were all given a leave in conditioner to try out, and i used it for the first time the other day, i must say i was very impressed, my hair was so soft and felt easier to straighten too, and its apparently good for holidays too as it helps stop that dryness you can often get when your hair becomes sun parched.
I also really liked the packaging of this one, it feels heavy and good quality and looks great in my dressing room out on the side, which is always a good consideration! I must say I can’t comment as yet if its worth its £17.99  price tag but ill be sure to report back after holidays!

Noir caviar is the second brand from Ben and it was launched a few weeks ago. The idea behind this range is that its like an anti ageing hair care system, which pampers and gives softness shine and volume to the hair (like an anti ageing cream gives plumpness to the skin and smooths the skin.)

The products even have skin care references with a cleanser (shampoo), moisturiser (conditioner) and styling cream to the range.the latter I was gifted to try out. Watch this space for how I found it!

The last one was Infinatura Cura Oil, an all natural oil containing 8 natural oils. the founder of this brand , Caroline Biggs, lives in Spain so couldn’t pop to drizzly Sheffield for the day and so Faye talked about her product instead. The multi use oil can be used for insect bites, stretch marks, scars, after waxing to calm, as a bath oil and even as a nail strengthener.

Again i have a sample to try out of this which ill be sure to report back on in the future.

We then had a talk from Moo Goo. I’ve not heard of the Australian brand before and oh how i have missed out!

I’m writing separate post on this brand as i have fallen in love and have a back story to share with you too which will drown this post, but lets just say this brand has left me very happy! As well as providing skincare you can eat its that natural they also have a sister brand Dusty Girls which is makeup you can eat. I’m not saying you should buy a lipstick instead of lunch (although a much better way of spending lunch money if you ask me !) but i like how it proves the products are just so natural. In my goody bag i got a lip shine in Sun Shower which is a clear with slight shimmer lipgloss and a mascara that I’m looking forward to trying out!

We then had the raffle , as yes, i did win something!  This Konjac sponge and some sheet face masks.
(note carl did win too lol so he wasn’t too upset 🙂 )and then we continued to chat the day away. The venue – Eat Eten Cafe – were very hospitable and the soft drink variety was on point, i had a strawberry and rhubarb soft drink which was gorgeous!

Once it was time to go, we were given goody bag which was more than generous and well put together to take away with us.

Heres a quick shot of it all:

I cant wait to start trying it all out! I had such s fab day so thanks again to all the lovely organisers and the brands that contributed in the day and to the bags! Please let me know which products you want a full review on first in the comments so I can get started on testing!
