I’d had my eye on the smock dress trend for a while but I’d been reluctant to try them out as I thought I’d look like I might be pregnant, however when I saw this one in the ASOS sale I loved the Winter Floral print so much I threw caution to the wind and ordered it!
I love a floral on a black back ground, my Primark £3 Dress is of a similar vain too, so there’s no surprise I loved this print too.
Went it arrived I was relived to find that it was shaped around my bust and although a smock it didn’t drown me and make me look like I was about to give birth! Result!
I styled it with leggings and my New Look Cleated Sole Boots and Holographic Clutch here
I wore it to work with my new Dorothy Perkins Tall Jumper which I thought lightened the look and also gave the dress a different look I also wore flats from George that I included in my Pastel Preoccupation post here
And of course my River Island Pastel Floral Necklace had to be added!
What’s your thoughts on smock dresses?pregnancy times only or perfect to house a food baby instead?! I for one am wearing mine next time I’m out for a meal!
