I mentioned a while back that I’d started yoga after the Currys event where I got a taster,  and I’ve continued to attend a class once a week to keep it up. I actually really enjoy it, as it doesn’t feel like traditional exercise but really helps with my tone and flexibility. I even managed 4 classes whilst on holiday which is super rare for me to actually do anything!! here’s the proof!

I needed some kit to wear whilst on holiday and back here in the ever increasing heat of the yoga studio I go to (there’s lots of glass so basically a greenhouse) but didn’t want to spend too much on it all! I love a bit of coordination too so wanted everything to match of course.

Here’s what made my top 5 things:

  1. Bra Top (£3 in the Sale George@ ASDA)
  2. Shorts (£4 in the Sale George@ ASD)
  3. Hair bands* (Mi Ti £4.95 for 3 at Look Fantastic or £3.99 at selected hair salons)
  4. Bra Top (£4 in the Sale George@ ASDA)
  5. Trainer Liners (Primark £2 pack of 3)

Kit: Yoga Mat (£5 Primark)/Sports Bottle (NSpa Freebie/Yoga Belt (£2.99 TK Maxx)

I wanted a bra top to wear for the heat and I picked up this pink one just recently, it’s a size L and is a perfect for for me. I’ve started wearing it under a thin black loose vest for my classes in the UK. I’ve also got some Yoga leggings with a pink trim that lol fab with it too. I picked up the shorts in the sale as well, they were to match the other bra top that’s multi coloured that I love as the multi straps makes it look more expensive which I like! The dry fit material of the shorts is perfect to stop me getting sweaty on the mat (TMI?) There’s a few similar styles on the site at full price (around £8 an item) and safe to say the marble bra top is definitely going in my basket next pay day!

Unlike most I like to do yoga in my socks, in can be quite slippy but I just prefer it! So these light weight trainer liners were perfect and cheap enough to get a few pairs. I do want a pink pair next though.

Finally Mi Ti* sent me these hair bands to try out as I have to pile my hair right up on the top of my head to stop trapping it mid downward dog, (long hair problems) and my others had been rather useless (and painful!). These ones were brill for my hour and a half yoga session. There was no slippage and they didn’t hurt my head like my other ones were doing. They also come in lots of colours which is perfect as i like to match my outfit as always!! I’m actually struggling to decide which colour I like the best! I’m keeping the white one in my handbag for work too as they’re perfect for popping on when I need to whack my hair up and they don’t leave a dent afterwards.

They’ve given me 2 packs to give away too which you can see in the background of the photo above- just Rewteet this tweet to be in with a chance to win them. (Closes 11pm Friday 31st July. )
