I visited my favourite shoe shop this weekend to celebrate their second birthday!
As always we got a fantastic welcome from Lara and her mum Maggie. They knew we’d been out the night before and so may come equipped with a hangover, however we weren’t too bad, a state which Maggie declared was a ‘Boozy Gloom’ when you just feel a bit meh! We had some lovely pink fizz to celebrate their birthday which did lift the gloom slightly too!
As always I can’t talk for long without getting distracted by all the gorgeous shoes! They stock lots of quirky brands including Irregular Choice , Ruby Shoo, Poetic Licence, Blink and Rocket Dog.
For those not in the Doncaster area they do have a website , so you can see all their shoes without leaving the house!

The Mosatccio this is sold out in many sizes on the IC website and is £69.99 vs. £65 at Unshoesual!(even with the very reasonable £3 delivery if ordering online they are still cheaper!)
The upper is a soft burgundy suede with a subtle scalloped edge. They have a hidden platform and chunky multi coloured glitter heel, so festive!
Embroidered onto the toe is the piece de resistance – a moustache with a pipe!
Let’s be honest they wouldn’t be IC without that twist!
They’d look great with jeans for a festive meal out or with a prom style dress for that Christmas party, and would certainly be a talking point!
It does seen a shame to walk in them though when the soles are this pretty, at least you can keep the box bag as a reminder of them though!
These continued to be my faves in the shop although the Ruby Shoo -Olivia (£45) was a close second!
After a lot more gossip and some twitter and website talk we left feeling a lot less ‘gloomy’ than when we arrived!
