Did you know I love a bit of pampering? Haha I am sure you did.. So of course I couldn’t turn down the offer of some surprise treats from Mio Skincare. I’d discovered their Activist Oil* through my Libbie Club Box (Available here with 20% off and free mini exfoliator) which really helped my skin get softer and also helped my stretch/shrink marks reduce my making my skin more elasticy if that makes any kind of sense?!
The sent me what I believe could be my Holiday Season saviour the Liquid Yoga Space Spray (£19.50)*. It’s calming and can be used to help sleep, help concentration and lots more. It can also help ‘secretly diffuse family tiffs’ so when things start getting heated over Uno, which they most always do, I’m gonna spray it quietly and see if it works!! I’ve been spraying it on my yoga mat and I love how calming it is, and how fab it smells.
The other item I was sent was the Future Proof Body Butter (£35)* which can be used alone as a thick body butter to really moisturise or can be used as part of a double threat after using the Activist first. I am so trying that out now I know this! The actual butter though is really luxurious, I love a really thick body butter to use on my legs after shaving in particular and to keep my tummy and décolletage nice and soft too and this fits the bill.
What I like about the brand in general is that the ranges all work together so well and that most importantly they are free of any nasties, which, I must admit I’m a sucker for a good scent which these have so I don’t feel there’s any compromise between them smelling lovely and being free of parabens and synthetic fragrances.
In fact they have a No Nasties policy that you can read more about here which I’ve found really fascinating to read (ignoring the random repetition that seems out of place where it talking about what range is best for you) it does educate a little on why they don’t include certain things, and it sounds good to me! They also don’t test on animals which shouldn’t be a bonus really , as all companies shouldn’t in my opinion, but it’s fab that these are another company that don’t! And that they are proud of it.
Next on my list to try is the Liquid Yoga Bath Soak as it sounds fab for relieving aching muscles which I always need after an early Monday morning yoga session.
Have you tried Mio Skincare or Mama Mio yet? Let me know your faves in the comments! Also how amazing does the bathroom look in these shots? It’s the Grange Cottage bathroom giving me envy again!!
