To say I was looking forward to this day was an understatement, a room FULL of Leeds bloggers and some from further afield and then a party hosted by a big brand in Leeds! How fab!?

The Leeds Xmas meet was the first part and it was fab! Rhianna did a fab job of organising it all and with a craft station, photo prop corner, plus key refreshments in the form of Just Bee drinks and Propercorn we were all set for a good chilled afternoon! There was also a raffle and I love a good raffle! It was in aid of Young Minds and we raised £355 how fab is that?

I won this fab alphabet bags pouch and burgers and beer for 2 at Almost Famous… Droooooool!

I also won best dressed, as the theme was Xmas, now when I saw it on the email I jokingly tweeted asking if this would be too much, then planned on popping on my Xmas jumper… Until Jenna said to me she’d heard I was going all out and couldn’t wait to see it. Never one to disappoint I knew I had to do it.

So that morning I got out baubles and tinsel and attached them to the trusty tutu. I added my homemade bauble necklace and was good to go!

It was a fab afternoon as it was good to spend time with friends and meet new people and to top it off we were even sent off with a goody bag.It soon flew by and it was time to leave , get changed and go for food whilst we waited for 7 o clock to strike and the next party to start.

The La Redoute Xmas Party was held at the Lamberts Yard Event Space, and we were greeted with a smile and drinks oh yes!

There was a selection of their party wear around the room and we all flocked to the rails (drinks in hand of course!) and commented on how fab it was to see the items in different sizes rather than just sample sizes on the rails, this soon be came apparent why, once everyone had congregated, Laura introduced the event and told us we got to try on and pick a piece to take home and be photographed in it!

Everyone was straight into it, I hung back for a bit and scoped sizing and managed to get a few lovely dresses on my size.

I found this one too tight fitting in a 20 though which I was very sad about, (although it goes up to a 22 and it’s now only £16.20!)but then I found this dress. Now it was far too short to wear sans tights so not many people saw me in the dress but the ‘over top’ I kept on for the rest of the night as it looked fab with my outfit. So much so I wore it the day after to our friends Xmas lunch.

There was also some other lovely pieces that I’ve now put on my Xmas list. Once that excitement was all over it was down to food and sweets and more drinks (drink responsibly guys!) until it was time to go home (and in Lucinda’s case devour the Lindt mini snowmen that were in our goody bags!)

It was a fab day all in all and was great to catch up with all faves although there were a few missing!! (Faith and Bryony  I mean you!)
