I love a bit of tartan in winter, so I loving that it seems to be a thing this year. So when I saw this boxy T-Shirt in the Inspire range I wanted to try it on asap!

Except … I couldn’t as I was talking to the manager of New Look Meadowhall about the recent Inspire range and what I thought to all the pieces.
Myself and my two favourite Sheffield lovelies Amy and Georgina had been invited down through the #MHBloggersHub programme to have a look through the new range and give our thoughts on it.
Of course afterwards I had to go and have a look and try on my favourite pieces especially as it was the New Look 25% off event that very same weekend!
So the tartan top came home with me eventually.
I love the length of the top especially as some boxy tops can come up a bit short , but this one covers just what it’s meant to. The sleeves are also a great length as you can see, they’re not too short.
It’s made of quite thick material too which means it keeps it shape (no clinging) and looks more expensive than its £17.99 price tag.

I got a size 18 in this and it fits great, with plenty of room. Here I teamed it with a black stretch skirt (old DP), thick tights, my New Look Wide Fit OTK Boots (from this post) and my Bombi Forest Necklace from Moonko in Sheffield.

Considering Id never given a second glance to this shape of top Its quickly become one of my favourites.

Of course I didn’t just stop there with the purchases, as it wouldn’t say haul in the title I suppose!

I picked up the Black Duster Coat which Georgina recommended and I now wear constantly.

My love for Duster shapes didn’t stop there as I picked up this Duster Kimono for £12.49 in the sale.

Last but not least is this Black Lace Button Back Top , it’s a perfect fit for me in an 18 and with a black vest top is perfect for work. I’ve also gone for a strappy cami top for when I’ve worn it to go out for meals in, it’s really versatile (if you look closely in my Feeling Christmassy post you’ll see I was wearing it at the Pandora event) and again looks more expensive than its £19.99 price tag!

I must say overall it was great to find so many pieces I loved from the range and it was good to hear about the future plans for the range and how it plans to move forward for the upcoming seasons.
