I predict a success, as The Body Shop are slaying with their new product ranges this year and the best is yet to come! I was invited to the Body Shop store in the White Rose Centre in Leeds, for a preview of the new products , by Trisha and to see the newest range Fuji Green Tea in full.

Firstly let me say this event was a bit torturous as I’d developed a rather bad cold so actually couldn’t smell anything! Luckily I took away a couple of samples so I could have a good smell once I’d shaken it off!
Tom took us through the newest range : Fuji Green Tea, which is inspired by the Japanese Tea Ceremony and how they now use green tea to detoxify their skin.
Picked by hand from bottom of Mount Fuji the plants are covered In blankets to slow the growth down which boosts nutrients in the leaves.
There’s lots of items in the range:
  • Exfoliating Soap which is the only one in the entire range
  • Bath Tea and Bath Infuser
  • Shower Gel
  • Body Scrub
  • Eau de Cologne
  • Body Butter
  • Body Sorbet
  • Body Lotion
Which all contain Fair-trade Aloe Vera to nourish too.

Smelling it now it’s really fresh and not what I expected from a green tea scent. I really want the Infuser as I can’t resist a gimmick and when it leaves skin as smooth as this did it’s worth it!

The next drink themed range was the Virgin Mojito range. This is out towards the end of May/Early June. It smells amazing. Basically Lime meets Mint for an awakening and refreshing scent which I love!
There’s a few less items in this range:
  • Exfoliator with micro beads
  • Body splash
  • Body butter
  • Body wash
  • Body Sorbet

The sorbet was amazing and I’m told if you put it in the fridge it’s really cooling, I really want to try it now! Yes, impatient as ever. The gift sets are cocktail themed too with one including a cocktail shaker and the other an ice bucket and I can’t wait to see those too.

We were then shown the new makeup releases by Shannon, there were lots of eyeliners (but me being me I didn’t pay much attention to those!) and some new eyeshadow colours but the standout were the new additions to the Honey Bronze range which have just been released now. (They hadn’t at the time)

The tinted leg mist was great as it gave an instant tan that washes off so no worrying about streaks you can’t remove!

However the highlight and excuse the pun , for me were the highlighting domesPure amazing! They’ve just hit the website so I am bagging myself at least the lighter shade as it was a firm favourite of the night.

I’m still super excited for the Virgin Mojito range and in hoping I manage to get myself a body sorbet prior to jetting off on my holidays in June. Which items do you like the look of most?
