if I’d have been clever I would have done a Star Wars mani for today! However I’m not and I didn’t! If you saw my #TheCityGirls post yesterday (Here) you’ll have seen what fun I had, and maybe have noticed The City Girls logo.
When I was painting my nails for the event and trying to decide what to paint, the skyline design from the logo came back to me so I decided to put it on my nails!
As you may have also noticed I was wearing khaki trousers so went for a base of OPI Uh-Oh Roll Down the Window (£3.99) which I bought from Fragrance Direct last week. I used my Black WAH Nail Art Pen (£7) to do the design. It was fairly simple I drew the skyline outline with the pen side then filled it in using the striper. I added some glitter with another Fragrance Direct bargain, Essie Summit of Style (£2.43).
I must say the Essie stayed but the OPI chipped badly, I used OPI nail envy as a base coat and my trusty Ciate top coat but it was a bit gloopy, so I’ll be switching the top coat next time to give it another chance!
