I was lucky enough to spend ten hours flying to Mexico, but it actually flew by (excuse the pun!). Knowing my skin was going to scream for moisture I knew I had to make the most of my tiny clear plastic bag of goodies I was allowed as carry on!
So what did I manage to squeeze in?

For the way there I took a Timeless Truth Travel Pack*. This was one of the Timeless Truth fibre masks that I won at the BloggersUnite Event. It has 3 parts to it. The first is a makeup remover , the second a deep cleanser and the third is the mask itself. I must say I looked ridiculous in it and it was quite wet so got some oily marks on the top I was travelling in. I used a napkin to dry the drips but definitely something to remember. My skin was so soft afterwards it was worth looking a fool for and it gave the perfect fresh base for the rest of my skincare on the trip.

My now new essential my Moo Goo Scalp Cream*. I couldn’t do without this for my dermatitis and luckily it just squeezed in! I used this alongside my Benefit Triple Performing Moisturiser with SPF 15. I love this stuff and as much as I tried to use a different moisturiser recently it just didn’t step up to the plate like this one does. I actually bought 3 mini travel sizes at the airport as I’d decanted mine into a Body Shop sample tub so I could squeeze it into the bag!
I added my new S5 Purity Serum I got in my Love Me Beauty box (post here) I use this on my chin area where spots are rife, I was lucky to have two visitors on my lip line that it helped with whilst I flew!

After that I used the Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cube. It’s so cooling and moisturising and is perfect for perking up the eye area after a cheeky mid flight nap.

I finished with a slick of my go to lipbalm – No7 Eye and Lip Screen and a spritz of Caudalie Beauty Elixir which again is fab for refreshing the face. Not forgetting the hands a mini L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream.

The final thing I added was an Aromatherapy Associates Instant Inner Strength rollerball. Made from frankincense and cardamom oils that restore and ‘give a positive outlook’. I used it when I wanted to feel refreshed and it helped take away any other smells that were around me, great of you hate the smell of plane food, and it’s pretty non offensive to other passengers.
I don’t think I did too badly to fit it all in my £1 plastic bag from Primark. I love these as they have some great travel size bottles in them too which once the holidays over you don’t mind getting rid of and repurchasing at that price!
Hopefully this has given you some ideas as to what can help the dreaded dehydration on a long flight, if you have any must haves then let me know below!
