So our Halloween night finally came! Vevo Halloween was held at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester which lent itself really well to the Zombie Vs Survivors theme for the event.
Dress up was optional but you don’t need to tell me twice, so I went for a half zombie half survivor look.
I was surprised at how many people made an effort to dress up I’d say about 90% did at least!
These were taken at the entrance to the warehouse – it was a faux military area with actors hanging off barbed wire and a recorded warning playing out about needing to stay indoors to not get infected!
Inside was just as creepy – there was a scare maze and a couple of installations with actors inside treating the wounded , more caged zombies and people in haz mat suits who crept up on you from behind!
All this for a fiver each!? Oh no! We also got to see my fave Labrinth, Ella Eyre, Gorgon City and Rixton perform live! (Sam Smith was meant to be there too but he was ill so cancelled)
Of course the nails made an appearance on my zombie side- it’s a good job my tights were ripped I literally couldn’t do anything with my left hand with out them catching/ripping/scratching whatever they came in contact with!
I kept the outfit fairly simple, a pinafore dress, black mesh star top with various rips on my left hand side, tights and flats so I could dance the night away!
