I rarely apologise for anything on this blog but feel I need to with this post! Unfortunately Mexico goes dark really early (like 7/730) so I didn’t actually get many nice night one outside photos, as we often went out at sunset for cocktails. So there’s a lot of noise on the photos or they’re taken in the hotel room! I still wanted to document my outfits in a holiday look book and think the outfits still show through blur and all!!

Old Primark Dress / River Island Lace Up Sandals in Tan (£68) / Asos Shoulder Body Chain

My first official outfit was this Primark sundress. If you read Danie’s blog you’ll have seen this pop up last year, I finally found one in a size 20 last September for a fiver. Luckily my mum in law performed magic to take it in for me before this holiday. I love it. I have a big thing for tribal/African inspired prints so this dress just gives me life!

Warehouse Tropical Palm Bandeau Dress £40/ New Look Utility Stretch Belt Was £9 Now £5.50/ ALDO Snake Effect Gladiator Sandals £45 /H&M Necklace

The next day we were off to coco bongos, so my new Warehouse tropical bandeau came out. I’ve got the most beaut Missguided heels (now only £15!)for this dress but they weren’t really holiday appropriate so my Aldo snakeskin sandals came out as I was going to be on my feet all night! I paired it with my new look belt from asos and a last minute h&m necklace purchase.

Old South @ Very Top/ Debenhams Red Herring Button Front Suede Skirt Was £65 Now £45.50/ Warehouse Arizona Side Split Jacket Was £36 Now £20/ Missguided Fringe Sandals £20 / River Island Black Flecked Stone Necklace £15

It rained this day and I got ready in zero mins. I think it shows. I was struggling to find something that went with the fringe sandals as I knew they wouldn’t be too slippy in the rain. I love the skirt, necklace and jacket just not together.

South Pom Pom Trim Cami Was £20 Now £10.75 / Old Topshop Aztec Tube Skirt/ Mulberry Maisie Pouch/ RJR Lace Up Sandals £45 / Old River Island Necklace

The day after I went for comfort is gotten a little burnt that day so I wore my old topshop tribal skirt (thinking about it I think Danie had this skirt too!?) with my new Pom Pom cami (remember the cream version here?)

Warehouse Summer Floral Cami Dress £32/ Mulberry Maisie Clutch/ Sandals & Necklace as before

This was my 5th wedding anniversary outfit.  My comfiest heels, short dress and my newest Mulberry addition this Maisie pouch. Loved it. Incase you missed it on insta here were are celebrating!

And that was my first week in Mexico! I’ve saved you from me in my pj’s the first night and another where I actually wore a dress twice! (Photos of that in part 2’s post!) let me know what your fave item is in the comments!
