I am well and truly in the festive spirit so thought it was about time I shared with you these lovely glittery scented nail polishes from Ciate.
The Ciate Candy Cane House comes in such cute packaging including scratch and sniff panels to smell the scents, and contains 4 mini glittery polishes all with different scents.

I’ve applied Tangled Tinsel over the Glamour Deep Purple as its a mix of irregular shapes gold glitter and small deep blue glitter.
The smell I think is meant to be tinsel mixed with tree scents. Out of them all its the most synthetic smell and I can’t really describe it!

I applied Candy Craze over Nails Inc Tate red polish, as its a mix of large red and white glitter and small green glitter particles. It smells just like sweets too, nom.

Snow Fall is the most opaque of the glitters and I could have painted a couple of coats without a need for the grey base coat here. It’s a mix of white glitters and very small gold and irridescant glitters. Smell wise it does conjure up thoughts of snow and water and it has a really fresh smell.

Ginger Snap is my favourite, it has the most distinctive smell it’s completely gingerbread all over and the colours of purple, gold, light blue and green glitter all work together so well too and I think it looks great over the burgundy base colour.

Overall the smells are distinctive but don’t last as long as other scented polishes I’ve tried, I applied these in the evening and come the morning the smells were very faint. Probably a good job as I don’t want to be known as the girl who smells her nails!

Price wise it’s pretty expensive at £25 for 4 mini glitters but I do like the glitters and I think it makes such a cute gift for someone nail obsessed like me.
