Love Thy Bust- Bra Tips with Simply Be*

I’m sure you’re aware that October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and it’s always been important to me to raise money and awareness to something that unfortunately has touched us all in one way or another at some point.
From the sadness often associated has come some fun times raising money to support those going through it now, in remission and, to support vital work to finding a cure and finally beating it for good.

My favourite money raising activity was watching my male colleague (and best man) get his legs waxed! They even let me pull off a strip oh it was a joy!  My most touching was when I worked in retail, I hunted store and country wide to find a pretty post-surgery bra for a customer in her size soon after her operation and it made all the difference to her in that moment.

So to keep raising that awareness and to ensure we all look after our boobs, Simply Be have launched a Love Thy Bust campaign. I loved it when they told me about it, I mean isn’t it time we all looked after our boobs that bit better? Well I know for sure I should so I’ve made a 4 things I think we should all do to love our busts that little bit more.

1. Moisturise Them! Make the most of the delicate skin around the area, don’t forget to moisturise it. Oils, sorbets, and even bust firming creams like this Palmers one will all work for your boobs needs, including reducing stretch (or shrink) marks and tone them

2. Support Them! Make sure you wear the right fitting bra, there’s some fab tips in this video  the Simply Be Edit page, featuring the lovely bloggers Georgina and Leyah. just make sure the band is tight enough to support and the straps aren’t too tight.

3. Check Them! Make sure you check them regularly follow these NHS tips here for how to and what changes to look out for,

4. Dress Them! Choose your style to optimise your assets. There’s another video here on a different styles to finally make sense of all the offerings! I’ve chosen these from Simply Be, I love padded plunge styles as you’ve seen in other past bra posts so had to go with this Anna Scholz * offering. I love the print and the colour of it and think it’s definitely the right set to love my bust in!

I also opted for this leopard print super plunge* as it will be perfect for all the lace up tops I’ve been buying.

I am still very tempted to buy something from the new Ashley Graham range. I love this unusual style halter bra which even has adjustable straps for strapless and cross back styles. I love it strapless with just the lace halter though.

Finally this Scantilly bra from the Curvy Kate bra makers also had to be included as it’s also super special. The cross front straps of this all wrapped up bra remove so it can be worn with most outfits too. Super cute!

So thanks to Simply Be I will be definitely dressing my boobs to impress and also taking my own advice on loving my bust that little bit more, will you?
*Simply Be have helped me love my bust with some bits above but as always words, ideas and content my own!
