So cast your mind way back to when I posted my Dressing Room Tour, and my Nail Polish Room photos… I’ve been recently talking about doing a Lounge Tour as my dressing room on is still so popular, and finally we are here! I’ve been waiting for the Mathmos Neo lava lamp to be released, as after receiving this gorgeous copper beast I knew it was the right time to take you on a tour of my charcoal and copper lounge. We redecorated last year after my purple obsession finally subsided, I’d seen some up and coming trends for last autumn winter and as always was impatient and started decorating to those trends in summer last year. We’ve added to it and I’m nearly happy with everything- I just want a new sofa that isn’t lilac!
I’m going to let the photos do the talking after this brief description, we have lots of dark wood furniture and then these grey Ikea units which we got from our friend when her shop sadly closed down. I love knick knacks and trinkets so I display these most places, I have more sentimental bits in the glass cabinet, and the grey units have a changing display most months of various trinkets and lights mainly! The shelf is my shelf where I store my blog planner, various beauty bits and what not. It’s always pretty messy but it’s organised to me! 
My fave parts are the metal copper wall decs, they are so heavy and took ages to put up but we managed it in the end, and I adore them! The large lamp in the corner is from Marks and Spencer’s , I love the marble base too. The initial letters from Next are fab, but we don’t put them on nearly enough, and the ‘This is where the awesome people sit’ cushion from George at Asda is my fave cushion at the moment!
So the title gives this away, but I’ve collaborated with Mathmos* on this post as they sent me the most beautiful lava lamp I ever did see! Being a *bit of a (*huge) novelty light fiend (spot the neon flamingo,light box, robin and letters) I was very excited by this.
