Ad| Contains some gifts. So let’s face it, I’m not really a fully fledged beauty blogger. But I do love me some makeup and the odd skincare purchase! It’s something I enjoy but I’m conscious I’m not an expert in! So with that in mind, I figured I do a bi-monthly/(or monthly depending on how it goes) roundup on what I’ve been using and rate it. I’d love your feedback on this. Hopefully, it will give you a quick round up of what’s trending in the beauty world plus some new products I’ve discovered, as well as some old faves we might forget about!

1. Flormar * Comes to England

I discovered Flormar whilst in Barcelona in 2016. It was by chance that I found a Flormar shop and decided to go in. As I was browsing I discovered the most perfect nude lip liner. I reviewed it here but it’s essentially a dupe for the CT Pillowtalk one at a sixth of the price. Now Flormar has come to selected Primark’s it’s accessible to all! Flormar is super cheap too so keep your eyes peeled in your local one. As well as using a new shade of lip liner* I was given a Flormar setting spray* to try too. It’s an aerosol kind and it did work! I slept in my makeup (bad I know) and it was still pretty much intact the next day, so the success rate is good so far. It’s not battled any major heat yet- but expect it will as the temperatures rise soon!

2. Rediscovering Jurlique

I came across Jurlique quite a few years ago, but at the time my love for rose scented things did not exist. So when I picked up this mini of their Revitalising Cleansing Gel at Stylist Live last year I hadn’t been in a rush to use it. However, I dug it out this month and I was pleasantly surprised. It really helped calm my skin and left it feeling soft plus got rid of all my makeup to boot! I’ll definitely be looking to buy a full-size version, as it’s rare to find a cleanser that won’t aggravate my skin or dry it out. The 200ml is around £25 at most places but currently, at The Hut it’s £20 (free Del over £50). Or if you spend over £50 on the brand at Look Fantastic you get a trio of samples too!

3.Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box with Ciate and Charlotte Tilbury!

Gemma Etc always does a fab review of the Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box which is £35 monthly, and I’ve been tempted to get it sooooo many times! However, I finally caved after seeing the contents of May’s box on Gemma’s Instagram. Ciate eyeshadow palette of dreams (Astrolights in Burnt), Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow Primer, Too Faced Glitter Eye Liner and It Cosmetics Lip Liner. All products in the box are always full size so considering a CT Wonder Glow is £38.50 it’s a bargain for all 4 products. I can also say June’s box is also fab with a Becca Highlighting palette I’ve been wanting for ages included! Worth saying that they sell out quick unless your subscribed, and subscriptions can be cancelled really easily just don’t forget!

So a pretty brief roundup but I’d love to know if you enjoyed this or not? Do you need any beauty products inspiration – let me know!
