Firstly what is the Libbie Club I hear you ask? Essentially it’s a club where you have to apply and be accepted to join. Once that’s happened you get a box with products in to test and review. There will then be offered associated with the products that you review which you can then promote so your friends/family/readers can get their hands on the products you love alongside a good offer!
It’s hosted by Latest In Beauty (LIB) so there are some great deals on there, I still have the last few months deals too which included £20 off the Magnitone I reviewed a few weeks back which I thought was a fab bargain.

There’s also a league and badges you can earn by submitting photos, logging on , sharing offers and generally being engaged in the club. The only crux of the matter is that you only receive next months box if someone has bought one of the products from your page, so this could well be my first and last Libbie club post, but if you fancy joining and trying it out you can do so by requesting and invitation to join Here
So what was in this months box?!

My favourite item was the Becca Beach Tint in Watermelon*. I actually saw this in Glamour magazine whilst I was on holiday , cited as being one of the ten makeup items to take away with you. It’s versatile in the fact it can be used on lips and cheeks and is a good buildable colour too. It’s also waterproof so good for adding a bit of colour in the daytime. I tested its waterproof claims and it’s still showing on the back of my hand after rinsing my hand under running water. It for sure needed some makeup remover to get it off! It also seemed to keep a tint on my lips for the whole day too, although I didn’t test the waterproof claims on my lips!

It is a subtle rose pink I would say with a very subtle shimmer that you can see on my hand but not do when applied. I love it. The only watch out is that due to its consistency it does need shaking before you squeeze product out. You can see in this pic it looks slightly separated and a good shake stops that.

The offer on this is that you get a free Becca Lip gloss in Palm Breeze worth £18. The tint is £18 (£20 on Space NK) and you get free delivery if you share your email with Becca.
Next up was my second fave the BIOEFFECT Volcanic Exfoliator*. BIOEFFECT are mostly known for their EGF serum which is costly but I know people rave about it! This is designed for use before the serum to remove dead skin cells and deep cleanse the skin leaving it ‘soft and refreshed’. I love the look of the Exfoliator, as you can see it’s a clear gel like consistency with micro Exfoliator particles. This is the Icelandic micro-crystalline lava which comes from an ancient lava field – hence the volcanic name.it also has apricot kernels in it and contains salicylic acid to aid with the exfoliation. Overall it did what it said on the box, it exfoliated my skin well and left it feeling soft and not dryed out. It wasn’t too rough and the particles were a good size to do the job without feeling too coarse.

The offer on this one is now 20% off which makes it £24 and with free delivery if you share your email with BIOEFFECT. I can’t see it reduced on any other sites so is a good deal and worth trying if you are a BIOEFFECT fan.
The final product was my least favourite but more so because I’m not a fan of this type of cleanser. The product itself is pretty good if you like this type of thing. The Skin&Tonic Steam Clean* is UK made, organically certified and cruelty free and only contains 7 organic ingredients! Very good for those of us that want to know where it’s comes from and what exactly we are putting on our face. The main ingredients of thistle, eucalyptus and spearmint oils are said to ‘lift dirt and refresh tired skin’. It’s easy enough to use too, massage onto skin, hold the cloth provided soaked in warm water against your face for a minute breathing in the scent, then remove to cleanse. It cleanses well and the fresh minty smell is lovely for a morning wake up.

My size is a mini 15g one but the one on offer is the 50g size alongside their Gentle Scrub Face Scrub of 30g which together have an RRP of £36. The offer is 30% off that price making it £25.20. Looking at prices elsewhere the Steam Clean is £27 on its own so another good deal it would suggest!

I really enjoyed reviewing my Libbie Club box and its really helped me to discover new brands and some cult classics from them. I know I’m thinking about another Becca tint already! Have you tried any of these products before, or , have you bought from the Libbie Club offers yet?
