Furry Gilet Love with Bon Prix*

I love furry gilets. When they go out of fashion again I will die inside a little- it’s strange as I don’t have a love for a furry coat, but as soon as it’s armless I am there! I lived in a couple from River Island last year, then topped up my collection with Navabi and now Bon Prix. I must admit until I worked with Bon Prix on a little project that’s coming up soon I hadn’t shopped with them, but that I think will soon change as I’ve seen the lovely boots they have this year and they go up to a size 9, which is always a rareity so I will be finding a pair I want in no time I’m sure!

After taking part in their project they let me choose a coat or jacket as a thank you and I chose this beauty! I love the lighter colour, and find it’s giving my usual plain black winter outfits a bit of interest and lightening them up a bit. I added it to my Marks and Spencer Khaki Pleated Skirt which was a sale bargain and accessoried with a khaki necklace and my Hotter knee high boots which I’m still in love with from last year!

It was perfect for the milder days a few weeks ago and was great for yesterday’s milder weather too- but I also like to wear them when it gets colder but I know I’ll be inside so going out for food, or shopping indoors, as it keeps me warm but doesn’t overheat me like a coat can!

I love the varying colours in this one too and the lower neckline, I often find gilets have a high neck which I just don’t think suits me, so this one is much better. I’m wearing a 20 here and I’d say it was true to size and has enough room for a bulkier top underneath if needed. It’s available here for £39.99 which I think is pretty reasonable for what you get!

I wore this for a trip to Castleton for the day, I hadnt been back since our break away last year and it was fab to be back, I felt so happy and chilled out it proves I need to go back sharpish I think! Plus the bakery there do these amazing malteser cake slabs which are just amazing- worth it for that!

*item sent by Bon Prix, reviewing it off my own back and words and thoughts are my own as always!
