So I’m off to the Blog On conference held at MSI (Museum of Science and Industry formerly known as MOSI) and I can’t wait! Is this Sunday so just before I get off to Barcelona so it’s going to be a busy few days! I’ve been frantically trying to decide what to take to wear there – do I take a bikini or no? Is it dress weather? And lots of very important questions like that haha. I hadn’t even begun to think about an outfit for the conference! Luckily new brand to the block Celuu* came to my reduce looking for a few bloggers to dress for the conference! Needless to say I was very excited about it.

I learnt quite a bit about the brand, which starts at a size 12 and goes up to a 22. It’s specialities are ‘relaxed glamour and perfect tailoring’. A bit more sophisticated maybe than my usual style I thought, but when I visited the site I was actually pleasantly surprised. The denim style shirt dress on there is just a dream! There’s also some fab patterned tops that I liked too like this one here.

Celuu recently launched after being stocked at John Lewis (so you know the quality is going to be amazing) and they are a mid price point brand. If I were pitching it against the high street it’s more Principles/Warehouse kind of prices.

As soon I was on the site the Kristen Bomber Jacket grabbed my attention- you know I like a good bomber as you saw in this post and when I saw this navy one I fell in love. I’m not a fan of the oversize bomber as I like them to give a bit of shape, which this one certainly does. I went for a size 18 and it’s perfect and true to size I would say. It’s also so soft to touch and unlike my other will be more breathable for wearing when it’s a little warmer too.

After choosing the bomber I then stumbled upon the Olivia Ponte Treggings.(£39) Again I’m a massive treggings fan, they show off my long legs and balance out my body when I wear baggier tops and just look better and smarter than leggings I think. I wear treggings 4 days out of 5 for work so I’m obsessed with finding new pairs that fit well and are comfy for a full day’s work.  These navy ponte material ones are fab. I went for the size 18 which fit perfectly again, they are a lovely thick ponte and have a decent waist on them , with them coming up over my stomach even – which is a rareity thanks to my long body! They will be perfect for the conference as they are comfy for the full day’s activities, will stretch for all the cake and cookies, plus will maintain my modesty when I go in the adult ball pit. Yes really! Luckily Laura the founder of Blog On decided to reveal that secret incase anyone was planning on wearing a dress!

Once I’d chosen those 2 items it was time for a top: as I loved the denim/chambray dress I decided to go for the chambray longline top. The Emma Dip Back Top is part of the same collection as the dress so I figured it was a good compromise instead of getting the dress.  I went for in a 20, and it fits just right. Most of the brands clothes are designed with a relaxed fit and the sizing and fit is consistent across the sizes. I like it as I don’t like clingy tops so it gives me the breathing space I need to be comfy but also look good too(or so i think anyway!)

The top has a zip back and goes into a navy tencel material at the back, and the necklace bead detail in gunmetal,  finishes off the neckline. I love the length as I often find longline tops are too short on me, this is perfect, by would also look good that bit longer too.

I topped the outfit off with my new Kate Spade shoes from The Outnet, they are just dreamy! I’m not decided if they will make it to walking around the conference all day so might be switched around if I don’t manage to get them bedded in on time.

I really liked how all the pieces came together, and now can’t wait to wear it to Blog On. Have you tried Celuu before? Or have you been to the Blog On conference before? Leave me your tips below if you have!
