As I was shopping last week I decided to pop into warehouse, I love that they’ve started to do some size 18’s and I’m now on the hunt for my beloved scuba trousers (remember these here?) in a smaller size.
I couldn’t stop picking items up and kept going until I was rather ladened down with clothes!
I must say I didn’t actually find any 18’s in the shop in Meadowhall, it is a tiny one though so I can forgive them slightly, but it’s a bit h&m all over again if you ask me. Points for at least stocking them though (Topshop I’m still looking at you!)
Although the lovely Aztec vest had no hope of looking good I was surprised to find most of the rest I took in fit me. Especially this Hanky Hem Aztec Dress.
I mean how lovely is it?! I styled it with the necklace and belt I had on that day and think it looked spot on! Thanks to those who voted yay on my quick Twitter poll I shut my eyes as I handed over the £58 for it.
I actually then decided to wear it for my friends daughters christening last weekend, I knew it would be a glam affair so made the effort (and glad I did everyone looked lovely!) but decided against heels for the day and went for my old George flats from last year. I did discover that I don’t own a black strapless bra, so I finally used my heart shaped racer back converters on my bra to bring it together at the back, but I kept my little M&S shrug on so it didn’t matter much anyway.
My other obsession is this ALDO Cifaldi Body Chain(£10) from ASOS. I’ve been looking for a body chain that doesn’t go near my stomach, more of just a bigger chest one which this is, it’s just perfect, and went great with the high neckline of the dress. I added my New Look Pin Chain Stretch Belt (£7.99) again too.
For holiday I’ll be adding sandals and showing some shoulder for sure. I’ve also got a warehouse too coming up as I couldn’t resist that either! I’ve definitely fallen back in love with warehouse, what’s your thoughts on their recent collections? Do you have anything from them? (enable away!)
