Valentine’s Meal With a Twist

Ive been really lucky recently and actually won our Valentines Evening out by tweeting a photo of my meal at Cabana to Restaurants of Leeds as part of one of their recent competitions.
So what did we do?
It was a really different experience, with a ‘movie night’ theme at the Harvey Nicholls Espresso Bar in the Victoria Quarter, Leeds.
B&O provided large screen TV’s and the strangest looking comical floor speakers to screen the film ‘Roman Holiday’ featuring Audrey Hepburn.

The theme of the food and drink was Italy to tie in with the film and we had Aperol spritz’s , antipasti, ravioli and ice cream. Plus popcorn of course!
The food was immense and if the high quality you’d expect from Harvey Nicholls.

The bar itself is open to the centre and although undercover it isn’t as warm as a restaurant would be so you’re advised to wrap up warm if you go, there’s patio heaters and we were quite warm and didn’t keep our coats on, but as you saw I wore leggings, boots and a jumper to keep warm!
They’re planning to make the movie nights a monthly occurrence and Id definitely recommend it as an alternative date night! My husband enjoyed my silence for once too I think!!!
Thanks to Harvey Nicholls and Restaurants of Leeds for running the comp and their hospitality!
