I felt this title had to be descriptive, as, although quite apparent to me I’ve discovered that some men (and women!) thought these were rather something different. I’ll let your minds wander into the gutter and back, but let’s just say I’ve had to be very careful when cropping these photos for Instagram!

So now I’ve addressed the elephant in the room, let’s get into this fab invention. I’ve tried many things to curl my hair just how I like it and I must say the bubble rod attachment to this has been great for the front sections of my hair. The thicker the piece of hair the looser the curl, so I’ve been taking big chunks and wrapping it around which gives a loose spiral curl.
For a looser wave I switch it to the larger barrel that narrows towards the handle (the reverse tapered cone) and that works a treat for the sides and back as I don’t like too much of a curl all the way around. The other option is the large barrel rod for soft , bouncy waves which my hair never really takes to so I haven’t used this really as I think it would be unfair on it haha!

Can we also talk about how pretty this is too!? It’s in a rose gold finish as a limited edition and it looks so good in my rose gold and bronze dressing room which I love- let’s be honest it’s far better than black.

It’s really easy to switch over the barrels they just twist and clip in, and the other bonus is that it comes with a tiny glove thingy to protect three of your fingers from burns. I so neeeed this as I’m always catching myself when using barrel tongs. The heat setting on this is great too as it’s adjustable, so it means I don’t set it all the way to the top and hopefully I’ll be damaging my hair less by doing that. The Paul Mitchell Hot off the Press thermal protection hairspray also helps protect hair from styling damage too and also provides some hold to the curls (it’s also makes my hair super soft!). It can also be used as a finishing spray afterwards too as it’s super light. It’s not a wet spray so doesn’t leave hair crispy like some protectors can. The ion technology on the styler also prevents this but I won’t pretend I know all the technicalities.

The final part of my parcel I was sent was the rose gold brush which is the prettiest, it also comes in a paddle style that I’ve got my eye on to get. Even the brush ends are coloured to match. I love this style of brush as it’s perfect for my yoga kit however this one is staying firmly on my dressing room table.

Both the 3 in 1 styler and brush are limited edition and will be available in April at £89.95 and £7.50 respectively.

*I was sent product to review but as always thoughts, opinions and ramblings my own. (Except the dirty thoughts blame my friends for those)
