Last weekend was a busy one! After my works Christmas Party on Friday night and a Leeds blogger get together at Cabana followed by a family evening dressing my inlaws tree on Saturday, it was then time for a bigger family get together on the Sunday.
We all made something to take to eat so it was a melange of Italian goodness (Mr E’s Nanna is Italian) mixed with a few people’s specialities, basically it was amaze. And how good are these strawberry santa’s?
Santa also visited which was super exciting of course! Knowing he might be there I had to make an effort with my outfit!

This day dress is a new fave of mine, it has a small tie waist which helps bring it in and it fits perfect thanks to it being a Tall dress (it’s also available in core range too). However the viscose material can crease easily I have found (although I’m over it, if that kind of thing bothers you then I wouldn’t recommend this dress!) and it is also quite a thin material – although not see through it does show the light through at the skirt part – it does mean I’ll be able to wear or in warmer weather too (and in my office which is red hot most days!!) but another thing to bear in mind if you’re thinking of purchasing.
I paired it with my over the knee boots and it’s just the right length to show a little bit of skin without looking trashy. This is a big contender for my Christmas Day outfit as it was really comfy to wear too, perfect for all the overindulgence that will be happening!
