Last weekend I went to a Plus Size Clothes Swap and I decided to go for a monochrome tailored look with my faithful black warehouse scuba trousers as my staple. I added my old ASOS long monochrome stripe shirt, old Primark necklace and new George Duster Jacket (Similar here) and new Flat Patent Faith Shoes .
GG took my outfit shots and this backdrop reminded me of ice skating in my youth and clinging onto the bars on the side as you go around it!
I’m loving my new duster as its a softer stretchy material compared to my others that I’m obsessed with and it keeps me warmer than my others too. I enjoy the contrast of the shirt stripes and the grid pattern on the jacket as it adds a bit more interest to the totally monochrome look.
The other new edition were the bargainous shoes from Faith at Debenhams. 70% off and under £15. What’s not to love?! They were also pretty comfy too and think they will be great for work too as a smart shoe with all my scuba trousers.
We had great fun at the swap and as always it was great to see her and some of the other plus size blogging community. I cleared some space in my wardrobe too which is always a bonus!! Have you been to a clothes swap before!?
