I found out about the re- opening of the Lush Leeds Spa from one of the lovely Leeds girls, Grace from Grace Talks Beauty and was lucky enough to bag a spot on the list for its opening night.
Lush spa treatment in progress
For those that visited before it’s moved across the road, and been made bigger so there are now more treatment rooms and a larger shop floor area.
The spa area is amazing. I was transported to a cosy den where Enid Blyton and wild flower books gather on tables and potion bottles and jars grace the walls. It was hard to believe there was a shop full of people above us.

There’s a choice of 8 treatments each having it’s own quirk and drink associated with it afterwards. For example the Hard Days Night massage is done under cover and whilst you are wearing oversized pyjamas. Each also has it’s own soundtrack from old sea shanty tunes (The Good Hour) to Beatles Classics (Hard Days Night) all reworked to provide a classic, calm, spa soundtrack with a twist.
There were a number of treatments being demonstrated and they all looked amazing! Grace even got to be a hand model and had a lovely arm and hand massage.

And one room even has a bath in it. Too cool.

After the tour we got to explore upstairs. As you’d expect it was heaven. I loved the fresh face masks on ice and the perfume display made to look like an old apothecary was so cute. We were fed gorgeous nibbles and we even got to make out own The Comforter mini bubble bar.
Here’s my attempt , let’s just say there will be no day job quitting!

As you’d expect from Lush all the staff were super friendly and we spent the rest of the evening taking away. And it was soon time to leave. We were sent on out way with some goodies which I’ll be reviewing shortly, and smelling, well, lush!
