I love miniature beauty products I’m sure I’ve professed this before, from mini perfumes to mini lipsticks and everything in between. So when I got my hands on this L’Occitane Shea Mini Handcream (10ml) I was more than happy!

It’s got a lovely clean scent and reminds me of a suncream I used to use as a child, which is very comforting and doesn’t offend others when you apply it in an open plan office- a Lavender one I once had drove my colleagues mad! It soaks in pretty fast especially as it’s designed to target dry skin, and it’s got 20% Shea in it so it’s super moisturising too.

It came in this little cute tin, which I think would be great to use as a little brush storage. Also inside was a Shea Light Comforting Cream (8ml). As it’s part of the Shea range too it has that familiar scent although a little lighter scented than the Handcream, it’s probably as this contains 5% Shea. It’s designed for sensitive skins and targets the normal to combination spectrum of skin. I was really surprised at how fast this sank into my skin, and it left it feeling non sticky and soft to the touch. I can’t talk about its long term benefits but plan to give it a good test over the next few weeks so if you’re interested let me know!

Now for the best bit, these were free! Available through this link, enter your email and details and boom! You’ll be sent an email to either go claim it in store or with your next purchase. I picked mine up from the St Pancras shop as it was quick and easy and opened so early I could pop in at the start of our loooooong day trip to London last week.

As someone that’s trying to be on a spending ban (‘trying’really is the operative word as I’ve given half my pay to Illamasqua this month.) It’s actually nice to get a freebie to feel like you’ve treated yourself!

Let me know if you pick one up too and what you think of it below.
