As the wind rattles my windows and I’m snuggled beneath my furry throw on my sofa I can only wish I was back in the peak of summer feeling the sun on my skin.
However I did promise outfit shots from my holiday and what better a way to reminisce over the summer than staring wistfully at holiday photos?!
I must admit I didn’t go OTT on outfit shots as I wanted to truly relax so there’s a smattering of shots from across the 11 days, not all of them amazing but it gives a little essence of my holiday style!
First up is my favourite outfit, I wore this on our last day and as we ate earlier than the usual 8.30 I got some daytime shots too!
I love this skirt as its so versatile, I’ve worn it with burgundy, peach and neon and it looks more expensive than it was (ASOS Sale- some sizes are still around too) It also meant i braved a crop top! (£5 in the RI sale) Paired with my favourite necklace (old RI similar smaller ones available on eBay etc) and some neon jewel flip flops (old New Look) I loved it!
My one day time outfit shot had to include my gorgeous new River Island Kimono. It was on the sale at £20 and I had to have it! The detailing is just out of this world, it would be perfect for a beach party don’t you think?!
My holiday staple was dresses though, and mainly ones made of scuba material.
This one is from the G21 Talent Range. I love the print and the quality is fabulous! I wore this to my friend’s wedding when we got back with some heels and no one could believe it was George! I did remove the net underskirt from it as it really didn’t suit my shape and added bulk where I didn’t need it but for £28 I really didn’t mind having to do that. The talent range is designed by those that George discovered during graduate fashion week and I loved the print so much I even painted my nails inspired by it.
Paired with my fave nude bug sandals from River Island and Zara Clutch
As I also did with this one also from G21 at George (I’d taken them off at this point though!!)
I wore heels for the first time on holiday in a very long time and wore this seasons River Island Bikini Cover Up as an evening dress with heels and a vest and skirt underneath. The White Zara bag got an outing with this one.
I only wore 2 maxi dresses on holiday and this new one from River Island was one of them, I love how bright the colours are! Of course the yellow Zara clutch made an appearance again. I loved the view from the hotel stairway it was stunning!
I hope seeing sunny shots has helped you feel better for a small amount of time , if not, think positive- it’s nearly Christmas!
