It’s that time of year again when I’m about to be going on my holidays! I’m really looking forward to it as we are going with my parents who I haven’t holidayed with for about ten years.
It’s going to be completely chilled and I really need it as life has gotten so hectic recently it will be nice to just relax.
I hate packing and I actually find it quite a stress so I have to find enjoyment in the little things (quite literally) whilst doing it.
Cue the little things:

I just love mini versions of products!
I’m taking:
Mini John Freida Frizz Ease Shampoo (£2) and Conditioner (£2) currently 3 for 2 at Superdrug
Buzz Off Insect Repellant (£5.39) also on 3 for 2. Okay so this isn’t mini but they do do a smaller size, it’s just I need more! I always use this one as it’s never failed me, just make sure if you do use it you don’t miss a bit! I once had an unfortunate bite on my toe as I’d forgot to spray my feet. I e also got bite cream incase I do the same again!
Johnsons Baby Powder (£1.09) I won’t go anywhere without this! Perfect for getting dry when it’s humid outside, to help with chafing and calm shaving rash and as a dry shampoo why wouldn’t I need a mini version?!
Mini Colgate: just too cute! (Sample given to me at work)
Sure Compressed Deodorant
Hawaiian Tropic SPF 30 this came in my Glamour Latest in beauty box and it’s a handy size to put in my bag if we go out for the day.
I’ve got a mini NSPA Rasberry body wash which smells lush and a pouffe which didn’t make the cut (but it’s the Boots cheap one and is tiny!i don’t recommend it!)
Finally another non mini, the new Sunblock from Lush (£8.95) , I was given this when I attended the opening of the Lush Leeds Spa, you use a third of the bar on the shower so you literally shower on your sun cream. I’m interested to try it but also wary that it says to reapply after 2 hours so I’ll be using this in the mornings and topping up with my other suncreams in the day. I’ll let you know how I get on!
I’m now off to try and rationalise my make up bag, wish me luck!
