I was lucky enough to win a prize in the Stella Magazine Big Beauty Giveaway, which was the Travel Size Elemis Skin Nourishing Milk Bath 125ml (£15.10) I bought the full size version last year for Mr E’s auntie as she is a big Elemis fan, but I’d never tried it myself, so was excited to try it in my bath!

So firstly this is a bath creme, so it produces no bubbles and is designed to nourish the skin , much as Cleopatra’s milk baths did! It contains milk protein as well as oat and camellia oil.
It smells very softly feminine yet fresh, like a mix of baby powder delicate floral (I’m presuming camellia!) and milk.

Here’s a pic of my bath with it in! I was in the bath for about half an hour and my skin does feel soft, softer than with a normal bubble bath. However my hands feel very dry, they were out of the bath for the most part as I caught up with Elle Magazine whilst relaxing, so can’t say it was the bath creme , but can’t say it wasn’t. Maybe I should have had my hands in the water for longer! My elbows and dryer parts of my skin feel super soft so I’d recommend it if you have dry patches of skin or get dry skin in the winter.

I’ve also read that it can be applied neat to the scalp, dry patches or a mummy bump! I might try this on my scalp as I do suffer with a very dry scalp, so this may help with my dryest part which is my front hairline.

Overall I plan to use this sparingly as at £42 for a full size bottle it isn’t cheap, but if it works on my dry scalp it will be worth re investing in.
