Part from having Advent Calendars to open I had another reason to look forward to the start of December, and it was to attend the third Ice Lolly Holidays Blog at the Beach. Of course it had a tropical yet festive vibe for the day with plenty of time to catch up with allll my faves in Leeds plus listen to some great speakers – I do love a good informative blogging event!

I won’t go through it all but we heard about Pinterest from Rosalilium, SEO from Mostly About Choc and Instagram from Girl Vs Globe and I took away some fab insights from all three speakers! Of course the dress code was festive, so I picked out this sequin vintage top from George At Asda for just £8 to wear with my La Redoute pleather Midi skirt, it cuts off the wording at the bottom (Santa’s Favourite ) but I still think it looks fab!

We had mulled wine and everything! I had a fab time! The top goes up to a size 24 and I’d say it’s a fairly generous sizing, I’m in a 20 but it had started to bag around the elbows and waist when I got around to outfit shots the next day, but for £8 I really don’t mind so much! I forget about wearing bright red unless it’s around the festive period and was actually loving it so my aim is to wear it more in 2017! I will however be wearing it this Friday for Xmas jumper day (yes I know it’s a Top not a jumper but hey- my office is like a furnace). What are you going to be wearing?
