Sunday’s are great for many reasons, mainly because for most it’s the one day of the week where you can relax, chill with family and friends, eat a lovely Sunday dinner and then pamper yourself in the evening ready for the working week.
However there are a few chores some of us take on for Sunday’s and brush cleaning is one of them for me.
Confession time though: I’ve not been cleaning them every Sunday recently! Time just goes and another week rolls around, so last Sunday I decided to wash them all in one go using Dr Bronner’s Liquid Soap in Citrus* which I received in my NottsBloggerMeetSep14 bag and have been eager to try.

I’d heard lots of good things about this cult product and I must say it did make the dreaded cleaning a lot easier and it smells divine!
It even got rid of the makeup, gloop and lipstick off the brushes Id used for my zombie Halloween makeup and I didn’t think I’d rescue the brushes Id used, but it soon cleaned them quickly with a double dose of soap.

This smaller 50ml bottle costs £1.99 and goes quite a long way, I didn’t use it sparingly and only used less than a quarter to wash about 40 bushes.

It’s available on the Dr Bronners website, Feel Unique and im told it can sometimes be found in TK MAXX, I know I’ll be trying the peppermint version next!
